 The congregation is prepared to receive clergy family guests at the newly renovated Bishop Ochola House. The house has been especially set aside as an outreach program of Saint Raphael's.
The people of St. Raphael's Episcopal know just how damaging a hurricane can be. That is why we are offering a generous gift to clergy and their families who have been hurt by such disasters or other loss or trauma. Clergy and their families are each invited to stay for one to two weeks for some much needed R and R. The rectory has been recently renovated and tastefully furnished. The rectory is on the church grounds in Fort Myers Beach. It is a on block walk away from the beach and two blocks from a Publix grocery store. The housing is being offered free as a gift as part of the church's outreach program. The rectory is a three bedroom house with two bathrooms. It has a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a private full bath. There is a second bedroom with two twin beds and a third room that has been converted into a study with a fold out sofa bed that sleeps two and high speed Internet access. There are two televisions with cable. One is in the living room and the smaller one is in the master bedroom.
Other features of the house includes a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen and breezeway. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. The kitchen has been renovated with brand new appliances. All in all it is a lovely house with even a fenced in backyard.
Please release this information to all clergy which might have suffered harm and loss so they can contact us and reserve dates for their time of spiritual and physical renewal.
