Jessica Marcrum sang at both Christmas Eve 2007 services!
A recent graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Jessica is a current Masters student at Indiana University's Jacob School of Music studying with Senior Lecturer of Voice Ms. Scharmal Schrock. This past sp ring, Jessica was the recipient of the coveted Akron Symphony John MacDonald Vocal Scholarship. In the past few years she has been a soloist at the Chicago Lyric Opera, Carnegie Hall, the Chicago Theatre (under director Bobby McFerrin), the Ravinia Festival and the Toledo Symphony. Most recently she was soloist with the Indiana Symphonic Band, directed by Patrick Casey, introducing new compositions commissioned by the University of Maryland, "Four Maryland Songs", by Dr. Jack Stamp.
During the two Chrismtas Eve Services, Jessica sang "O Holy Night" and "Ava Maria".
